OUTDOOR BURNING 

• 92.81 BURNING PROHIBITED
  It shall be unlawful for any person to burn any trash, garbage, or weeds at any place within the corporate limits, except in an emergency with the approval and in the presence of the Fire Marshall or the Chief of the Fire Department. 
  
  There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this Ordinance. Even if the Wise County Sherriff Department have lifted the Burn Ban, this is still in effect for those resident living within the city limits of Chico
